Speedlining is a new rigging method for removing moderate to extreme high-risk trees where heavy mechanized equipment has no access.
The tree in question is a 130 foot codominent stem white pine. The pine was damaged due to construction and has lost its structural strength. The tree now threatens the cottage and access with mechanized equipment is not possible.
In view 1 the climber uses the strength of the strong tree to support him and the loads being removed from the hazardous tree. The climber is shown cutting off a section of the tree.
